Welcome to the North Carolina Office of the Council on Accreditation and School Improvement of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The office, located since 1996 at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, is one of 11 state offices that serve as the state-based administrative arms of the SACS Commission on Elementary, Middle and Secondary Schools. The offices are dedicated to helping the Commission attain its vision and fulfill its mission.
